Also, if you’re among the fans of these chocolate cereal coated in a molten caramel and coated in milk chocolate, rejoice, because now it’s your turn to indulge! Indeed, thanks to this recipe provided by Pause Cafein Food, you will finally be able to learn how to prepare the extra large version of Lion bar. So wait no more and follow the simple steps to make this cake that will make your taste buds roar with delight!
Ingredients:
- 750 g. milk chocolate
- 250 g. soft candy
- 65 g. puffed rice + 2 or 3 handfuls
- 65 g. wafers
- 10 cl. liquid cream
Steps:
- Cut 200 g. milk chocolate into pieces and then melt them in the microwave in a suitable container. Then mix well to homogenize the structure.
- Pour the melted chocolate into a bowl, add the puffed rice and mix everything
- Line the bottom and sides of a rectangular silicone mold with the previous preparation, then refrigerate for 10 minutes
- In a saucepan, melt the soft candies with 10 cl of liquid cream, stirring regularly.
- Pour some of the melted caramel into the cavity created by the puffed rice
- Place a row of wafers along the entire length of the cavity and cover with melted caramel. Repeat this action two more times to get a total of 3 layers of wafers separated by a layer of melted caramel
- Put it back in the fridge for 10 minutes
- Melt 150 gr. chocolate as for step 1 and then pour over the wafers. Then use a spatula to smooth the surface.
- Place the mold in the refrigerator for 1 hour
- Cut the top 4 corners of the cake to round them
- Balance the giant lion in two glasses on a tray
- Melt 150 gr. of the remaining chocolate as for steps 1 and 8, then pour over the cake. Then use a spatula to spread it over the entire surface of the Lion
- Sprinkle the entire surface of the cake with 2 or 3 handfuls of puffed rice
- Leave it in the fridge for 10 minutes
- Melt 250 gr. the remaining milk chocolate, then pour it over the Giant Lion. Use the spatula again to spread the melted chocolate over the entire surface of the cake
- Refrigerate for a final 30 minutes
- Is ready!
